Treading Zero Takes the Stage at CallHome Music Festival

After advancing through the CallHome Battle of the Bands, Treading Zero hit the festival stage in Brantford for a weekend featuring The Offspring, Bush, Matthew Good, Gob, Econoline Crush and more.

This summer, Treading Zero added another major festival appearance to the books with a performance at CallHome Music Festival in Brantford, Ontario.

The road to CallHome started months earlier. From a field of hundreds of bands, Treading Zero was selected for the Top 12 before advancing through the public voting stage to become one of just five bands performing in the live finals at Rope Factory Event Hall.

That journey ultimately brought us to Lions Park on July 25, where Treading Zero took the second stage at CallHome Music Festival.

A Huge Weekend for Rock in Brantford

CallHome brought together an impressive two-day lineup, with Bush headlining Friday night and The Offspring headlining Saturday, alongside Matthew Good and His Band, Fefe Dobson, Gob, Econoline Crush, Sumo Cyco and more.

For Treading Zero, getting the opportunity to be part of a weekend like that was something special.

We’ve played a lot of stages together, but there’s a different feeling that comes with walking into a festival, seeing the production, the crowds, the other artists and then knowing that in a few hours your band is going to be part of it.

When our time came, we took the second stage and did exactly what we came to Brantford to do: give that crowd Treading Zero at full volume.

Another Big Stage. Another Step Forward.

CallHome came during an exciting stretch for the band as we continue pushing forward with new music, bigger performances and the next chapter of Treading Zero.

Being part of a festival featuring artists who have filled arenas, topped rock charts and helped shape the music many of us grew up listening to made the weekend that much more memorable.

But the highlight for us was getting on that stage ourselves.

To everyone who voted for us, came out to the finals, made the trip to CallHome, stopped to watch our set, or discovered Treading Zero for the first time that weekend: thank you.
